For those interested this is a good article on the Sabres current owner and how he managed the team for the 8 years he owned it....he wasn't the best but saved the franchise from moving. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/sabres-nhl/article331357.ece

Go to a NAPA dealer or similar auto-parts store and get a 40 amp circuit breaker....mine cost me $7.95 here....then connect it directly to the POSITIVE side of the battery and then the positive lead of the trolling motor to the other side of the circuit breaker...then of course the neg side lead to the neg side of the battery...your done. You know I had 2 trolling motors before this one and neither had a circuit breaker hooked up to them....but this one came with instructions to add one so I did...the other two were trouble free for over 25 years...go figure...but with the price of these T motors it's a good and reasonable investment. Edited to add this: Here is the circuit breaker I am using for the last 3 years. http://www.google.com/products/catalog?client=gmail&rls=gm&q=12+volt+40+amp+Circuit+breaker&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=18023907927774833824&ei=tIJJTdXQA8T6lwfsw8n8Dw&sa=X&oi=product_catalog_result&ct=image&resnum=3&ved=0CD0Q8gIwAg# Bob

We had a lot of Italian guys where I worked and the easiest way to get them going was wait until 5 or 6 were together and ask one guy where I could get the best Italian sausage........each one had a better place...I just had to sit back and let the fun begin.... :rofl2:

HELP will be on it's way.........I will bet 2 dozen nightcrawlers and 4 dozen minnows that the Sabres will be hoisting the cup before the Willow Leafs....

From what all indications are (news reports) this guy LOVES his hockey and the Sabres.....he donated MILLIONS to Penn State....something like 80 million for their hockey program so he's not afraid to spend money unlike Galisono.

A 4" VERY sharp fillet knife is all that is need....but I do agree PERCH are the hardest on knives because of their tough skin and scales...Crappies are easier to clean.

I have purchased a LOT of items from Cabela's online or over the phone....never had any problems with big items and sometimes the shipping was FREE (my favorite four letter word).....a couple of years ago I replaced my 22 year old Minn Kota with a Minn Kota Edge FOOT CONTROL 40# of thrust with a 52" shaft....it actually came wired wrong on the foot control part but a phone call to Minn Kota got then straightened out in about 10-15 minutes...are you sure you don't want a foot control (cable steer) model...once you use one you will never want a hand control trolling motor for the bow. Any chance you are heading down this way......you could have it shipped to me and pick it up. Also check Cabela's site. Bob

I always store my two 6 gallon boat tanks full with Sta-Bil in them so condensation will not form BUT also for spare gas in case I need it for the back up generator......last HUGE storm we had here ALL the power was out, even at the gas stations....a generator with out fuel is worthless. Bob

I have the same 1985 50hp Johnson VRO outboard and here is what I do every fall. When it looks like I might be using the boat for the last time I start adding regular Sta-Bil to my tanks....on my last time out I pull the gas line to the motor and run it out of gas but then keep restarting it while using choke/primer until it will no longer even try to start.....doing this adds more oil to the cylinders...when home I spray a fogging agent into both cylinders and turn the motor over by hand....then I drain and refill the lower unit with fresh gear lube....also grease all the zerk fittings and it's set for the winter. On ALL my 4 stroke engines like the lawn mower, snow blower and back up generator I always add Sta-Bil to the gas and run them DRY for the off season, except for the generator because that could be put into service at any time so I just keep fuel stabilizer in the tank at all times but come summer I drain that tank fuel and burn it my truck while adding fresh fuel and more Sta-bil. This has worked for MANY years for me and I'm not thinking of changing these practices.

OH, OK...I agree 100% in that thinking.....mortgage ? ? ? haven't had one for 28 years but that's great advice on paying off or forward on any loans...even just adding a additional $50 per month on a car loan helps a LOT...wish more young guys would practice this type of finance...also good investments in the stock market as it always pays off more in the LONG run. Now I've seen everything.....

This is a GREAT idea but where in the world can you get 6% interest on your money these days.....even though....you should take the $1200 and purchase a CD for two years or a 11 month CD where you can get the money out without any penalty. Bob

Here is just a small sample of what is going on.......(for some reason the search feature on the Buffalo News is not working)... http://www.wben.com/-261-000-a-year-in-retirement--NYS-Pension-Data-On/7489367 I believe they are hiring.

Our public sector is completely out of control....the police have found a loop hole in their contract that the last 2 or 3 years before they retire they work all the overtime they can and it can boost their pension more then the regular pay.....so all the guys not up for retirement would turn down the overtime and give it to the older guys getting ready for retirement.....our new governor is suppose to look into this as this was just one of his platform items when he was running...but we all know how this just gets forgotten over time. When ANY NYS public sector employee retires their pension is FREE of ANY NYS taxes....oh, they only pay into their pension system for the first 10 years and after that the taxpayer pays ALL cost....I could go on and on and on and on and on.......just plain corrupt.
