Hello Folks just thought I would take a minute to introduce myself to you all on OFC. I am new to Canada, moved to Burlington, Ontario last year from Scotland and must say I love this place. I am just finding my feet here at the moment with the fishing thing, back in Scotland the only fishing I done was fly fishing(trout) and I love it. Tomorrow, I taking my two grandsons and their two cousins fishing. Small pond in King. Got them a rod each and I have worms and very small lures for teaching. there are Chubb that I saw and hopefully they will be enjoy themselves

Well, suppose its time to let the cat out of the bag. I've accepted my dream job and will be leaving for Edmonton, Alberta on July 8th. For all the OFC members I met, and all the Ontario fish that I caught, thanks for the memories.

Got some great news from the eye specialist. Glaucoma is stabled,no further damage. Cataracts stable as well.Back in 9 months.:0))))

OK...After about 3 weeks of investigation and internet searching I am off to try my luck just a bit north of the GTA. I found a spot called George Richardson Park / Rogers Reservoir. If anyone's heard of it or tried it let me know how it is but I'll report back with any success or failure! Wish me luck!
