Probably, if you think about it lake simcoe is filled with them and the trent connects all of those lakes.
But I'm not quite sure on the accuracy of other lakes, does lake simcoe really have brown and brook trout?
I'm looking for a good quality vice under $100, I'm not looking for anything super special I've been using a AA vice for a few years and I can't stand it, half the time the hook slips out when you tying and it is impossible to tighten, any suggestions?
I think that they're dace i'm not sure but I know that they're a baitfish, I catch them in my local creek whenever I feel like getting out. Here's a picture of one maybe you can tell me what it is?
Don't cheap out, it'll break like a twig! I'd go for an 8 wt buy backing rated for pike or bass, a good entry level is a temple fork combo they're about $130 you can grab it at bass pro.
I just got my first pair of simms, so far they have been great, if you live in southern ontario go to wilsons fly shop they have great selection and staff!
I was out for suckers again at a couple of rivers and creeks today, I caught 8 dace and nothing else, was using worms and was probably up about 2km from mouth.
