  3. I don't mind catching pike at all but I usually never fish for them they are almost always caught while I am trolling for walleyes !!!! Like the one in my pic and it's fun as I'm only using walleye rods and reels thankfully I use 20lb braid most of the time but I do have some some big ones snap me off as they bite through floro leader pretty easily !!! Some nice pike pictures everyone is showing as well !!!!!!! Cheers

  7. yes terrible new for sure,and from all reports so far most of the dead are school children !!! thats just horrible...
  8. Well I have seen people in flat pontoon boats in wheelchairs before !!! If you could rent one and a level dock you might be ok ?? Just a thought and maybe some stocked trout ponds not far up north cater too handicapped people it's worth checking out ?? They would have a blast catching fish from their wheelchairs !!!!!! Just a few ideas hope it might help ....

  10. the epicenter was near anrprior !!! the ottawa valley,they get them all the time,maybe it will shake up them walleyes in the ottawa river for me....

  12. it was a magnitude 4.8 and felt all over southern ontario !!! the epicenter was breaside ontario !!!! nothing felt here in sunderland ontario,but lots of calls comming in to radio stations !!!!
  13. Well I guess it depends how much "cheap" you want to spend,small tinnies are always in demand for cottagers and camps and stuff so give us a price ?? I live in cottage country and see a fair amount of them for sale seems like they are around $500 is that about your price range??

  17. yes they have everything you will need tacklewise,but im not 100% sure if they have minnows or not,but they are not the only game in town so you wont have any problems finding them if you need them...

If you are going to fish the Ottawa river FMZ 12 remember there is a slot size in effect till June 15th but there is a ton of lakes in the area just to the west and the ridaue river and calabogie and the madawaska river just to the north and there is lots of pike in the Ottawa river too so you have lots of options call paddle tails bait shop in Ottawa and they will give you the info for sure !!!!! Great area up there and the fishing is always great !!!! Oh ya crappies are all around the area too !!!!! Good luck hope this helps a bit

  20. i only ever run 7 strand wire for my dipsey set-up,and flea flicker for my rigger set-ups and the fleas dont bother me too much !!!!
