  2. go to haliburton,#1..better fishin,peace & quiet,better scenery more wildlife,you can ICE FISH IN HALIBURTON....and ..are ya ready...............THE KAWARTHAS SUCK BIG TIME.....just my 2 cents
  3. yes or early in the summer,mostly in the mornings,like i siad the chug bug drives them crazy...you can use it anytime ive caught pike all during the year using topwater baits..
  4. well cliff i prefer my boat of course,but given an oppourtunity i will fish anywhere and i do...but if i could only pick 1 it would be my LUND for sure
  5. hey xrap.have you ever heard of a lure called the CHUG BUG... its made by storm lures ,get a big 6 inch chug bug and fish with that for top water pike...jerk hard then pause......and repeat they cant resist it,its the best top water bait for pike....hope i helped i dont know if i did the link right but just to www.stormlures.com and look forit on their site most tackle shops will have one ya....cheershttp://stormlures.com/images/thumbnails/hard_lures/freshwater/rattlin_chug_bug_342.jpg

  9. any real avid musky angler should have a fishing cradle,you only need to take the fish out of the water for a picture,and thats it you can mesure him and even release the hooks ,all the while the fish is still in the water and most of the cradles like the frabill one are made of a special rub ber so that the slime will not come off,and the fish will be released really easy...its just common sense.....

  12. yes well ron they did it for a reason and if that virus gets into all of our lakes rivers and creeks we are going to be in big trouble,it has wiped out some lakes and killed thousands of gamefish,including pike ,walleye,lake trout,bass,one lake in ohio,thats only 1 mile long and not very wide was completely empty of fish ,its gonna come here they are just trying to prevent it as long as they can,and yes i hope those people dont loose their jobs and income ,they should get some compensation i hope,...talk to you later......cheers
  13. welcome abaord ron,you will fit right in with all of us addicts,i have fishing on the brain 24-7,man it never ends,and i fish for everything thats swims, glad to hear you are a tackle shop owner,maybe i will stop in 1 day on the way by,i usually fish out of picton,or the ferry so it wouldnt take much to stop by,well enjoy this amazing board and all the great people on it. we love fishing reports & pics,so make sure ya contribute...chat later......cheers

  15. ive been with both,rogers & bell.and by far its gotta be old ted himself,we have evrything with rogers couples plan cell phones,high speed internet too full digital cable oh ya with WFN,and all the real cool specialty channels home phone as well,we just signed for a 2 year contract & we get free long distance for 1 year..tottally cool so we are happy ,ive had 3 cell phone plans over the years with rogers and never had a problem at all

  18. i would think the largest perch is 3/4 lb,or 1lb,hes sure got a full belly,and the other is at least 1/2 lb either way they are both tasty good catch....cheers

  24. well yes & no,some of these people live in different ares so that veries but for the gta,area yes you have to follow the regulations and fish below the CNR, railway tracks south to lake ontario that has an all year open season,you can get a copy of the regs. on-line or go to your local tackle shop to get a copyand because the 07 regs are not out yet you must follow the 06 regs..hope this helps...cheers
