Well cliff,its a personal choice,and if money is the issue,i would still go with the eagle,they have some really good units for the price,and you still have to remember 1 thing right you only get what you pay for,at least get something with a minimum of 1200 watts and 500 rms,that laterr being the most important !!!!! good-luck and if you need help,im here as well as could probly get you at least the savings of the tax,from my bud !!!! cheers

Yes its a really nice chunk of land,and in an awesome location lots of trees,nice docks,and they kept it in mint condition and its been there for almost 100yrs !!!! and now im curious what they will do with all that land ??? i hope they dont sell to a developer,and build mega homes,or a subdivision....oh man do i wish i could buy something like thati wonder how many millions they would ask for it !!! anyways thanks for the info,does that mean everyone who has booked will be out of luck,i remember that some families have been going there for generations,i hope thet they still keep great care of it and keep it looking mint !!!!

Well you have to do what everyone does for shore fishing for walleye,any of the briges going over the bay of quinte ,the trent river mouth,and of course the famous picton harbor !!!!!...go get them...good-luck

Well its no different from anyother lake ontario tributary,accept it has a harbor and a pier,theres steelhead,browns,salmon ,pike and of course carp,mudcats,suckers,the odd sheephead,...but for most of the year,there is not too much happening,just during the regular runs of the above fish,lots of people fish there in the spring & fall,and there is fish caught there lots,so give it a tryas well the harbor side is quite deep,and the west side is quite shallow, hope this helps so good-luck....cheers

Thanks for the update...and nice report too,that big fish must have suprised you,i have caught several muskies from the bog while ice-fishing,and even had 1 jump right out of the hole,on to the ice,!!!!!make sure after the weekend that you give us a new update,like ernie said the temps are going to drop nicely,so it should tighten up those soft spots,i hope nobody take a machine out that way or there will be big trouble !!!!..cheers & thanks

Well you wont get any closer than mohawk bay trailer park !!!!...located well...in mohawk bay they rent campsites and you can even rent a trailer for the weekend or for a week, i dont know the number but you can look it up easy enough....good-luck

Well for walleye you do the niagra,or maybe frenchmans bay ,in pickering,but its been along time since i heard of a walleye being caught there its mostly pike,any other spots i know are just as far as going to the bay of quinte,..the grand river,but like i say you do have to do some driving to get to these spots,good-luck

Well at least they finally got finished,i think they are easier to read,and yes they did re-designate all the areas,and made some positive changes,so well see how much problems it will cause in the spring when fishing starts again....
