  2. Hey lew when im running boards for walleyes ,im always using 10lb mono,or 20lb power pro,and by the way im always using a flouro leader tied to that...even for fall quinte walleyes i run 10lb mono, cause thats the line that they use for the precision trolling guide !!!!! they also use 14lb fireline which has the diameter of 4lb mono....so if you use the 15lb powere pro it works out the same....i troll alot for walleyes and good quality 10lb mono will handle anything that you will run off the in-lines and it works great !!!...hope that helps...man that trolling guide is amazing, and it will up your catch big time....cheers

  19. One other thing to consider, the kawarthas are very busy that time of year, specially on the weekends man ita a zoo,out there....when i fish there we are usually done by 9-10 am as soon as all the clows in their sea-doos,and all the other boats come out...so if you dont mind all that boat traffic, and noise great, vermillion would be quieter for sure, good-luck whatever your decision cheers

  21. My freinds salmon charter boat that i crewed on for all those years,he tried it many times, and yes we did catch fish with the wd-40 scent on the lures but we also caught fish with no scent on them so we never did prove if it worked better than regular baitfish scent or not,i heard a long time ago, that one of the main ingredients in wd-40 is fish-oil,is that true ???? cheers
