I had to back out of my trip to Wakimi this year due to time,but I am rescheduling for next July,I did thou managed a couple days at Halfway Lake. Just wondering how is that Sultan Rd.....is it in desent shape for a mini van or suv to pull a boat into Wakimi from 144? thanks

got back about 2 weeks ago,fishing was hit and miss,if you hit it,it was nuts,lots smallies,pike and walleye,not much musky action...headed back up in a week

the trailer market is flooded right now so do not be afraid to negotiate. Buddy of mine just picked up a great deal on a 6 x10 landscape trailer,shopped around ended up saving about 4 hundred off list because the dealer had a huge inventory and wanted to move one.

I agree with bare foot,more likely some local thinking it was stealing his fish. My dad lives 5 minutes from Lakair and when I go up there the old school mentality towards snakes,turtles and other wildlife that I see and hear is mindboggling.

i found a few for sale state side ...prices range from about 500- 1000 used depending on size and age. they go for starting around 2000 up here. I talked to 2 owners last year and both had owned them for a few seasons and both loved them. I watched the one guy unfold his,took about 5 minutes to be ready and seemed fairly simple.They left them tied to the dock for the week,neither had a drop of water in them from leaking.

seems i found the problem...there are no relays in fuse box for towing....tried CT and princess for relays and no luck ....anyone know where i could buy relay fuses ......thanks

went to hook up the boat to the van to leave this morning and no trailer lights. I have determined there is no power coming out 4 way from van. This has been professionally wired in with a converter box,seems i get power and signal coming out 3 wires to drivers side but nothing from 4 wires going to passemger side coming out of the small black box. Just wondering if i spliced in a new box would this solve the problem? thanks

thin line on bottom of finder indicates hard bottom ,thicker line as bottom =mud.....at least on older lcd finders like I have

couple different reasons,1) wife is not a huge fan of driving and pulling a trailer,boat or tent 2) the cost of driving second vehicle with gas and paying for second vehicle at park would equal what a tent trailer would rent for or close 3)would of been nice to travel together for long drive(also live in London area) 4) oldest son 18 was hoping to be left a vehicle to get around to work while we were gone

instead of driving 2 vehicles this year one pulling boat,the other the tent trailer we are thinking about renting a tent or travel trailer from somewhere in the North Bay area.We are staying at Restoule PP from July 12-19. So if anyone knows of a rental place or someone who privately rents an unit please forward to me contact info. Not sure if any of the RV dealers in the area do. thanks in advance

do you know anyone that works in a hospital...most get shipments of meds like insulin that are pack in styro coolers,roughly 40 L size....but these are 2.5 inch thick high density styro coolers.not those crappy ones you can buy,for these to break you have to smash them over a rock. I have a couple and they keep ice longer then my coleman extreme. Plus the price is right.

I have had 2 labs both lived to be 15 ,fed them quality dry food mixed with boiled liver diced up ,they also had their fair share of table scraps,both lived healthy active lives,starting slowing down once they hit around 10 but remained healthy.

We already have a 08 ford explorer,she needs a van for her job or else she would be driving anything but a van.lol

years ago we use to fish under the bridge on the causeway,we caught everything there,crappie,perch,pike,bass,bluegills....just fish under the bridge(might have to squat down to get underneath) minnow and a float....could also try the waterfront in Port Rowan.
