  1. there's plenty of good pike fishing around. If you have a boat, lots of good lakes if not. Rent one at Little Lake or try from shore in Lefroy, some beauties down that way
  2. Cant go wrong with that, looks like a great birthday to me! Hope you enjoy the clock!
  3. definitely NOT a lake trout lol

  5. They assist the fish in gettin over the dams into prime spawning territory
  6. best way to not cause a stink = dont post reports. i've been flamed all day by "real steelheaders" who are clearly way better and way cooler than me, because they dont post pictures. And apparently floatfishing.net is so much better, yet they still feel the need to lurk and bash. floatfisher, stealheader are way too cool for school. MODS, close this thread please, I'm done with this
  7. Sorry, not all dropbacks. We each got nice fresh hens. But the male was a dropback, and all the fish we lost were male droppies.
  8. Mars bar and a Rockstar energy drink
  9. I love this board, but it seems i catch it every time I post a steelhead report.... Nater and Stealheader seem to have negative things to say all the time about this stuff. Whats the problem guys ?

  14. With high water, there's always gonna be a creek or two in their prime, went searching for a while this morning and stumbled upon a gem. About 8 iches of vis, but the water was fast!! Had a rough time landing fish, but still managed to go 3 for 6 but didnt get a pic of the smallest one, and Kelli went 1 for 3, all dropbacks. Good day out! Be safe though guys, the water is still high!
  15. that tourney is worth 100 grand, i'd be jumping in too.
  16. According to the Globe and Mail, Hector Martinez, a 12 year old boy from Scarborough was fishing with his dad and uncle in Duffin's Creek yesterday afternoon with night crawlers and a float. Just 10 minutes into fishing, little Hector felt a big tug on his little Ugly Stik rod and immediately called his dad and uncle for assistance. "His pole was bent so far over," his uncle said, "that I knew it had to be a huge fish. Hector's dad eventually netted the fish and to their astonishment, they couldn't believe the size of the steelhead. When they weighed the steelhead on a Rapala scale, it read... Ha!!! April Fools! Be safe on the rivers with this rain guys
