I have warned most of my fishing buddies!!! That if they play a trick on me by putting a snake in my tackle box or lunch box, that we will no longer be friends, but that I will visit them in hospital once just to tell them "I told You so" Hopefully they will be out of there coma so I am sure they understood me.!!!! I usually tell them the story about my co-worker that put a frog in my lunch box, on the first day of that job after seeing that all the guys were jokers, I warned them that I have no problem taking a joke but that my Lunch was off limit. That job was a very physical one and I needed my lunch for fuel. One day at lunch I open my box and there is a frog in my lunchbox.I am french and for some reason that's the nickname they gave me(very original) So I look around and the guy across the table from me has a big grin on his face . So I reached over grabbed him by the collar and just walloped him one . Both of his eyes were black by the time he hit the floor. All the big bosses were sitting at that table with us, but my immediate boss got up and said that everybody were warned on my first day not to F&%K with my lunch and he showed them the frog in my box and said "Seems like this guy didn't listen.

I would go down to Old Montreal instead of walking down St.Catherines. Just not sure about this time of year. Might want to drive a bit out of the city and go experience A Quebecois Sugar Shack especially if you have sweet tooth.

I've done the live bait test also, 1) live worms or Gulp nightcrawlers for catfish. 3 to 1 in favour of Gulp with over 50 catfish caught that night . 2) worm harnesses Gulp night crawlers and Live minnows and Live worms. 2 guys on live bait and I was using Gulp and I outfished them 5 to 1.

To pan fry. flour salt and pepper to taste, I use lemon pepper. pat dry fish and put in flour mixture then panfry in butter.

Would kind of make it fairly easy to go ice fish Takwata. I think there is a motel of some sort at Abitibi Canyon which is now opened in the winter for the Snowmobile trail North Loop. From there it would be about 45 minutes ride on a sled to get to Takwata. Not sure if New Post band are there in the Winter though.

They didn't show a good map of the road in the article, does it cross the dam at Abitibi Canyon then back across at Otter?? Or the other way.

Bunk seems like the letter to the MNR last year worked!!! There was a 2 page story in the Ottawa Sun on Saturday about the ice road from SRF to Moosenee, good reading. 8lbs XL should be okay , but what kind of rod are you putting this on that it won't fit. Base of spinning reels are pretty standard. Not sure about Matzuo though, I would pay a bit more and get a known name first.
