  1. Ice on the bog is looking good, should be perfect for opener.
  2. I have a 18volt cordless drill and an adaptor for my 6" auger and last season I got approx. 6-8 holes per battery (ice thickness 8"-10"). I bring two batteries and it is a lot lighter and quiter than a gas powered auger, but once the ice gets over 12" i'd prefer a gas auger. The colder the weather the shorter the batteries will last, but definately worth the $20 and now my elbow and arm only hurt from landing the monsters, not drilling
  3. well said, and I thought i was the only one Leave the smokers alone, they are paying our debt with all the taxes, once they die who's gonna take over? we must teach the new generation to smoke!
  4. Dr. Death Manns stretch 20's behind planner boards or flatlining. fasttracks or any slim long crank bait with a long lead behind the cannon ball. Worm harnesses behind cannon abll or dopsy. all the above has put 10+# walleyes in my boat over the years.
  5. I wasn't aware I didn't abide, I thought I just asked a simple question about something I noticed. Thanks for your concern though, it is greatly appreciated.
  6. after reading this, 2r's post and few others i have to ask.... why do you always have to make it about you?
  7. Thanks for the laugh Randy. Terry, you hit the nail on the head once again, I agree with you 100%! Some people are just to sensitive, emotional or politically correct these days...sheesh
  8. unless you broke a law you have done nothing wrong and shouldn't be sorry, Some ppl are over senstive in todays world but that shouldn't mean the normal ppl should change to suit them, follow the laws not the opinions of others.
  9. there is something about that "tssss" sound when a butt hits the water that is addictive.
  10. 177 butts eh, good onya, they say over 80 million cigarette butts make their way into Ontario waters each year.
  11. why is rangerguy a meathead for giving his honest opinion? Yes the choice of words were not the nicest but neither is the protest. If they break the law they should be punished according to the law regardless if their land was stolen or sold for beads and tobacco and alcohal hundreds of years ago. I don't understand the mentality of our natives these days, why cut off your nose to spite your face? Do they expect the average Canadian tax payer to be proud of them or support them? they are criminals because of their actions, not their heritage! IMO
  12. Unfortunately for you we don’t know the names of all the bad natives, so we just call them natives, its not personal, just stating fact, natives are blocking roads in protest of blah blah blah. (I could think of a lot worse names to call them but it wouldn’t be politically correct and probably get me banned) I do find it strange that i could get arrested for voicing my true feelings about this kind of people and their mentality (or lack there of) but they are allowed to get away with this type of childish and idiotic behaviour, but hey , thats Canada, different laws for different races, no wonder so many people are racist. We have the natives destroying their own land to spite the other Canadians, we have a province that wants to separate and not be Canadian and a spineless government over seeing it all with a blind eye. Oh well, gives us something to b!tch/laugh about. I’ll be thinking of those people standing on the side/middle of the 401 while i am in my boat fishing this afternoon.....lol
  13. "Good judgment comes from bad experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment" "Just remember........if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off"
  14. "always marry a girl with small hands"
  15. I agree, i would rather use stale bread crumbs than that maple smoke or wine/herb fish crisp.
  16. yummy! good fighting fish for their size and even better tasting. Nicely done!
  17. I have read reports of walleye caught between beaverton and Thorah Island. They come in via the talbot river. If I was going to fish for pics in simcoe thats the place i would start. Its a big lake, good luck and welcome.
  18. Yo Yo.

  19. nice report and pictures, are the catfish easy to clean? I enjoy the catfish I buy but have never thought of keeping any i catch, might keep the next one and try it.
