  1. I wonder how they'll manage to blame that on man made climate change lol. Plus I bet that produced more pollution than all the cars in the state combined but you'll never hear that mentioned.

  2. just got back last night from another trip into Lac Dumoine and 10 Mile Lodge. Another fun trip in the books. Tough fishing but we caught our limit and had two great fish fries. One of the things we also had to do was put a memorial plaque on an island on the lake to commemorate the life and good times of my buddy Bob Proulx, who passed away last fall. Got it done (pictures to follow) and had a little shot of Sambuka as a toast. Anyway, the fishing was really tough, probably the toughest in 35 years of going up there. I don't know if it's all the storms, the wacky weather or the high water but the bigger ones just weren't bitting. And everyone we talked to were saying the same. Still had a great time, though.

  3. When I was young I really liked them but by the time I hit 30 I saw no reason for them other then to scare animals, my dog wouldn’t come out of the bathtub for a full day after fireworks

  4. I personally detest them. We live in a farming and horse community and most families have pets of some description. Many don't understand the fear and panic fireworks cause to animals including death! Is 30 minutes of flash and bang worth it? If you must get your fix there are many public displays put on by fire dept's etc. that are in safe, controlled areas.

  5. My first 2 vehicles were cars, a '68 Beetle and then a '76 Rabbit, then the rest of my life was trucks and SUV's but in '99 an old neighbour mentioned he wanted to sell his '88 Firebird, $3500 changed hands and I had both a truck and a car. It was only the V6 so no muscle but was cool in summer with the T Top

  6. Bought two AoLithium 12v 100a from a local retailer in Milton. 8 year over the counter warranty directly with the retailer. Batteries have BMS, cold weather protection and Bluetooth so you can monitor SOC right from your phone. $249 CDN each. They've been flawless.
