  1. Thank god they've found a loophole in the bureaucracy and corn lobby job set out to kill those of us with boats and snowmobiles. The inherent nature of us with boats purchasing premium fuel shows a demand for specialized fuels in a limited capacity, the fact that the government is trying to outlaw this...dont even get me started. Ill keep my thoughts to myself to avoid getting this thread closed.

  2. How much lower is the water this year? Majority clear water, some more clear than others but the only stained area I recall off hand are sturgeon bay and shawanaga river.

  3. Unless I'm fishing the jungle, I like to rig large swimbaits on a bullet head jig head...with a 6" bait a 5/0 hook with 1/2 oz head will get you down to deep weed lines and drop offs. If they are right in the cabbage, then yes, I'll rig a swimbait on a weighted wide gap hook Tex-pose style... I had a cottage at the mouth of the Moon River for a number of years...June was always big Pike month. Find cabbage weeds at the mouth of bays leading to the deeper basins and channels. G Bay is gin clear water, cabbage will grow down to 20 ft...fish the edge.

  6. I just stopped by to say that I've never been so confused about "why things are the way they are" in Canada in the year 2023, compared to previous decades. To try and dissect any one of these hundreds of issues makes me nauseous and frustrated. Not sure where it goes from here. I don't know if it's a valid reaction or not but I feel a certain sense of victory whenever I buy anything on the reserves. Admittedly I've only ever been to two: the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan aka Golden Lake?, and the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte aka Tyenadinaga. Does anyone have a link to a map of all of them around Ontario? Always good to know where to go for friendlier service and cheaper fuel and smokes!

  8. That's our problem, we could really use a couple more refineries to keep the price down, but oh no, can't have that according to the climate changers.

  9. If the natives were smart, they’d say to hell with trudeau’s ethanol free fuel ban and just double down selling ethanol free premium from their refinery and network of gas stations located on their reserves. I can tell you there is a massive market of people looking for corn free fuel.
