The year is shaping up to be messed up already. Ice was only completely gone yesterday, but not a single crappie on the ice spots, but lots of walleye in 30’FOW…?!?!?? So..... went for bass in the shallows and not a single bass either??!?? Was trolling around some shore lines of the bays and the water temps were 50F max…and what do I see swimming towards me suspended over 6’FOW? a school of crappie, I set the bobber to 6” and watched them grab the minnow….way too early in my experience to sight fish them in the shallows…another weird year is on the cards.

With my garmin units I was able to put the Navionics map I bought on all the units I own and are registered with garmin for no extra money

I'm not sure what you mean by "up at the front" ? But if I'm going to have only one screen with Navionics, it's going be the screen where I sit and drive the boat (steering wheel or tiller) under full power. Afterall, that's where you want to look at "Navionics" to "navigate"..

I am a resident of this lake, honestly I don’t want to give away any of my good spots, but all I will say is this lake is pretty decent when it comes to bass fishing. If you are just going up for a few days with your family and want to show your kids how to catch fish please let me know and I will give you a lot more information and some great spots to check out. I have been fishing this lake since I was a little kid.
