  1. With some of the horror stories I've heard about the Ulterra, it's Terrova all day. I've had my Terrova since 2012. I've had to replace 1 plastic part on it in that time frame. Still going strong (60in, 80lb, 24V with iPilot Link)

  2. Greetings from the Coast i dont do this but here it is anyway. seems to be a lot of guys with tinnies in the Gta just starting out. Now what I’m going to tell you works best on Clearwater days specifically this time of year I’m going to share with you a gator spot that is off the hook husky jerks work really well trick is to get along the bottom and you will be able to see the lure and the fish come in to strike electric is favourable but not necessary you can use a paddle to probe around. There are many places just like this all over the area. as a bonus some “very large”smallies so without further adoo (43.4409960, -79.6681976) enjoy if you dare

  4. He's potentially coming next week Brian, I'm looking forward meeting the young fella. I will show him this message, I'm sure he'll find it funny. Make sure when you after his visit he doesn't hold on you, I'll be sending him back with something for you. The build as simple as it would seem was a struggle, I'm glad you like it.

  6. Wright Choice If you do want to contact Lee at Wright Choice, tell him Uncle Danny gave you his info. Lee was my nephew by marriage; but my niece and him have divorced a number of years ago. Lee is a good guy and I have no ill feelings towards him that's why I call him a friend in my first post. Dan....

  7. I have a friend that is a marine mechanic and runs his own shop. At the end of boating season and has finished winterizing his customer's boats. He pulls out all the failed items that he has stored over the summer. He checks out what is rebuildable and what is only worth salvaging parts from. After listing his inventory of bits and pieces. He orders what he needs to rebuild what he feels is worth rebuilding. The last time I was in his parts room, there must have been 25 to 30 lower end units hanging on the wall; just waiting to go. He's told me many times that boat repairs are an OnDemand repair. Meaning whether it be a pleasure boat or a fishing boat; the customer wants it fixed NOW so they can get back on the water. My friend doesn't rip anyone off but time and opportunity does delegate the price. Simple question to the customer; you want back on the water tomorrow or in 4-5 weeks? I say good on him for working through the winter getting ready for next season. Well worth the extra few hundred to the customer; when his other option is sitting on the beach watching the other boats go by. LOL Dan...

  10. I usually buy it down south...my wife and I love New Orleans...we've been there over a dozen times over the years. It makes for a great getaway...warm when we're not, and I don't have to say anything about the food and music (good fishing too if you're so inclined). Our favourite spot is the Snug Harbour ...we've seem everybody from Wynton Marsalis to the Neville Brothers there...Charmaine Neville was the regular Thursday night act for years. And for the best meal...Commander's Palace bar none. Anyway I digress...like I said, I see you can now buy filé powder on Amazon.
