  1. With the steel head herd coming soon, I thought I best try to the right smoke now, then later. Hate to waste a good GBAY trout. So grabbed a couple of fillets from the local, and gave the dry brown sugar, dark/yellow mix ,with 1/3 cup of salt. It could of went a bit longer in the smoker, as I left the skin on as told. The skin traps to much oil for my liking, but,Im happy Mix of apple chips and sweet maple chunks, basted with rum and syrup again. It,s sooooo good. Nibbled a bit before the rest show up. LOL Feed back good or bad, is always welcome Oh I forgot something for me bye,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

  2. Very nicely said Brian. The portion that I quoted above is not entirely true. I think you are being too hard on yourself! If some of Kevin's talent and wisdom was passed on to you, and it helped you to produce the videos that I have seen of yours, then his legacy lives on. I can only imagine the work that goes into editing these videos and I commend you on the great job you have done. Keep on making the videos of your adventures and a small piece of Kevin lives on.

  4. If the water is that cold, you should be in a floater/survival suit anyhow... Life jacket isn't going to save you from hypothermia.

  5. They will also unpack for you and put away all your clothes....if you want a certain brand of liquor in your room they usually will get that for you....if need something ironed....will run baths for the wife and lay flowers on the bed, give you a pillow selection, scent in the room....the wife and I have had them when staying at the Iberostar Grand....I usually just use them to make reservations and to make sure I have my chair by the pool bar....its the wife that asks for things....me, I would rather not have one but the wife loves it so what the heck.... Chrispy!

  6. Of course. Just joking. I wouldn't have a clue either and would be concerned I could inadvertently insult them by not knowing the protocol. Have a great trip.

  7. The wife’s darned IPad is giving me troubles here. We tried to stay away from “epic” you know!?! ? Been done to death.? Thanks for reading, it is a pricey spot, been eying it for years and dont think I remember it being $2500 but maybe? They’re package (flight and canoe) is $3200.

  8. I'm guessing the price is close to 3k PP just for the fly in these days. When I went a few years ago it was $2500. Great read Drew, brings back a lot of memories. Looks like the water was up, making for easy paddling and no portaging over those shallow gravel beds (Which held some insane fish for us) I'd think the prices would be on the Hearst Air website as well.
