I’d do it but I can’t eat fish 3 meals a day 7days a week. I need the odd seal in there.

A small electric trolling motor would solve your problem,  the ice won't last long, then just drop the trolling moter through the floor  ( you already have the holes) and spend your summer fishing anytime you want to go. Geez I love being a problem solver. 😁
