I'm a bit new to this  forum. Was curious if anyone else has plans for a trip up north this summer? If so where and when are you going. Were my friend and I are going to Beteau a section of the Attawapiskat Rive quite a ways north of Nakina the 3rd week in June.  A rather remote river known for pike and walleye. Should be quite an adventure it's145 air miles in. So what's your plan(s)

Been to Beteau, we did well on pike..  I think our boat got 10 or 12 over 40in for the week.  Walleye were basically unlimited.  Bring a bunch of Johnson Silver minnows and big Kalins grubs and superglue them to the back.  They work really well through the weeds.    Those fish will still be shallow in June.

As for this year, The French (lower), Nipissing, GBay like always.

Thanks for the report, sounds like awesome fishery. Haven't fished French River in a while you never know what's biting there.

We  payed $1950/man, we payed our down payment  it locked-in the cheaper price. It's  up to $2300/man currently. They have cabins, fairly new to. The camps been given a major upgrade. So now has Wi-Fi, hot-cold  running water. The dining room kitchen is a shared common area.

Don't be afraid to make some runs.  Scout out those giant weed beds before you even step foot on the plane..  I can show you some spots via Google Maps if you'd like.
