I'm selling my Dodge Caravan and it runs fine and clean.

Unfortunately, last year I tangled with a tight parking lot pillar and have a big ugly dent on the drivers door.

Its a 2012 with 212000 kms so I really don't need a "Macco" job.

Will spend a bit (<$200) but just need it pulled to look half decent. I don't expect it smooth etc., just "good enough".

If there is a DIY guy in Hamilton that is up to it let me know.

Got a photo?

if there’s no crease, you may be able to pull it out with a suction cup or remove an interior panel and coax it out I pushing or levering a piece of wood against it. Maybe with something like a heavy rag over the end so you don’t do more damage.

if it is stretched, it will need some more intense massage. And that’s most likely going to require filler & repaint

Nobody needs a Macco job, the worst body shop in ever.

If you can get a glass suction cup to stick to the panel that may do to pull it. https://www.richelieuglazingsupplies.com/ca/en/category/suction-cups-handles/single-suction-cup-handles/1174434?sort=&nbPerPage=48

I remember Standard Auto Wreckers in Toronto used to have an all you can carry day, can’t remember for the life of me how much it cost as it’s been a million years since I was there, but I think it was reasonable, especially if there were a few items you were after

Just did some googling. Nov 5th, 65 bucks all you can carry, although I don’t know if they’d have your door or not.

Just to be clear, you also have to pull the part yourself.

Call the wreckers, they have a network.

but is it worth the time and money to get a few bucks more on the sale?

what about a body shop pull & fill the dent and re-spraying the door.
they can adjust a bit for fade and any difference in colour may not be any more noticeable than a wrecker door that may be faded differently anyway ?
