UpliftAura Posted January 1, 2022 Report Posted January 1, 2022 I’ve seen that people are able to catch pike and bass near the Toronto harbour and Ontario place in the summer, but I was curious if anyone has had any luck in the winter. I would like to head down this weekend but not sure if it’s worth the trip.
Weeds Posted January 1, 2022 Report Posted January 1, 2022 (edited) Providing you can find open water (and species in season) I don’t see why not. I had a big pike follow in Ashbridges bay and saw my dad catch one over near the western gap. Both winter time although 10 plus years ago. If you’ve got yourself a nice day I say go for it. floater Posted January 4, 2022 Report Posted January 4, 2022 We used to fish at the outflow to the Hearn Plant on Unwin Avenue. You would need to bring some heavy duty clippers with you now though as they let all the bushes grow up along the waters edge.
Toronto_Angler Posted January 5, 2022 Report Posted January 5, 2022 They are around. The key is to go veeeery slow with a Xrap or something suspending.
