D-wayne Posted November 25, 2021 Report Posted November 25, 2021 I often feel that I don't have the "go to lure" when times get slow. That's the best time to get back to simple and do what you know works. A plain little grub on a jig head just dragging the bottom does wonders at times. Two extremes from a slow day both on the same little grub. I also tagged a perch a pile of smallmouth two largemouth bass and a lake trout with this little lure. 3
Toronto_Angler Posted November 25, 2021 Report Posted November 25, 2021 Such a great tactic for this time of year. I was slaying them last weekend with a 3inch tube on a Ned rig dragging the bottom. The slower the better this time of year! 1
Sinker Posted November 25, 2021 Report Posted November 25, 2021 For me its a williams spoon. My go to for everything when things aren't working.
OhioFisherman Posted November 25, 2021 Report Posted November 25, 2021 My " go to " lure had a habit of changing when I needed it most. Down sizing worked at times, a simple color change or action and depth change. 1/8th to 1/4 ounce hair jig can be magic at times. 1
