Smokey Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 Another tough loss for all Canadians. Most of them so close to the end of there tour at the end of the month. It's a new kind of war and tough one to win or control. My Condolances go out to all the families.
Joey Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 Very unfortunate indeed. Maybe they should stay off the beaten path. I feel for the families tonight and wonder when this is going to stop. Joey
Guest skeeter99 Posted July 5, 2007 Report Posted July 5, 2007 dont take this the wrong way yes it is tragic that more young canadians had to die but the stat right now is for every solider killed there are 3 mamed or disable for the rest of their life, no arms /legs/sight /paralyzed take a trip down to sunnybrook hospital and go to the veterans wing, you will be shocked and there are no reporters or television cameras there they will not show you that cause it is to gruesome and shocking death is clean on t.v. and in the papers when I was there some of the soliders wished that had made the ultimate sacrifice rather than living in years of pain
