atvaholic Posted August 4, 2019 Report Posted August 4, 2019 (edited) Howdy! It just worked out that I have some time off mid - late august. I know it's last minute but I'm hoping to get out for 4 - 5 days with the family for some relaxation and maybe to do a little fishing. Being that it's so late, most of the (well known) provincial parks are full. Hoping to find somewhere quiet to bring the trailer(within 3-4 hours of Toronto, maybe a bit more if it's worth it) do a little fishing with the kids. Any suggestions? I have a small zodiac, being able to fish from that would be a bonus. Edited August 4, 2019 by atvaholic
Sinker Posted August 4, 2019 Report Posted August 4, 2019 Land O lakes. Check out Frontenac Township. They have some great camp sites. S.
atvaholic Posted August 4, 2019 Author Report Posted August 4, 2019 Thanks. Do you mean Frontenac Provincial Park, or the area in general?
huzzsaba Posted August 5, 2019 Report Posted August 5, 2019 try mikisew provincial park. its a nice small quiet park and the fishing is pretty good! just got back from there a few days ago and got into a few decent bass in 1 hour of fishing.
