fisherman7 Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 Was out on Upper Buckhorn for a few hours on Saturday night. Caught 3 walleye. 2 were about 8" long so it was great to see the lake producing. The other was about 2lbs. All were thrown back. Black twister tail caught them all.
Rattletrap2 Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 Awesome! I love a black twister tail grub! There is not much that won't bite one.
captpierre Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 Never know what to use. Black, white, chartreuse or smoke. Glad u did well.
manitoubass2 Posted June 12, 2017 Report Posted June 12, 2017 All black everything hahaha. 75% of my tackle is black or has black on it.
PUMP KNOWS Posted June 13, 2017 Report Posted June 13, 2017 You would recommend black grubs for walleye at night? I thought you would go brighter colours at night? I just started walleye fishing this opener and had a lot of success on 3" gulp grubs in chartreuse.
