Rouge River - Markham

Walked the Rouge on Saturday near the Milne Dam. Water still murky and only saw one cluster of trout. Maybe 15 or so just hanging around. Didn't see any suckers.

I had a walk with the family along Duffin creek on Saturday in Greenwood Park.

Didn't see one fish. Not sure where the fish are. Come and gone ? have not come up yet ?

That's my hood. I'm on Robinson creek, a rouge tributary near Milne. The trout were stacked up a week ago, but not many there now, and they'll be long gone by opener. I try every year and they're always gone by opener.

Been catching spawned-out fish off the Bronte pier since March break. Even that's slowing down now, starting to see more carp than anything else.
