I have read a few accounts of a few misguided souls that purposely walked across Erie. I think one account was from a young man that crossed the western end in the 70's, successfully I might add. You know your a redneck when there's a ribbon cutting ceremony but the Mayor couldn't attend because the second cut of hay had to be taken in. When you go into a restaurant and he seater asks " Table for 2 guys?" Here's yer sign. When did everyone become "guys"?
