PBenson Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 Good news! In case anyone saw the video a couple of months back, charges have been filed against the musky killer by the MNR!
manitoubass2 Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 what the hell took them so long? lack of evidence? public pressure? anyhow, good news. it was obvious he bonked that fish too bad they couldnt charge him for his other stupid statements about killing everyone he catches.
Handlebarz Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 They have been on the case hard from day 1. The MNR can not release details until they actually finish the investigation and file the charges.
outllaw Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 the way the charges read. I would be surprised to see a fine over 200.00 dollars.
Acountdeleted Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 Yeah. He has to pay $2 more to renew his fishing licence as his fine.
mpt Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 Yeah. He has to pay $2 more to renew his fishing licence as his fine. Coffee on my monitor now.
esoxansteel Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 As Mike mentioned the CO received the call, and responded immediately, as there was video as proof, and not word of mouth, Mike, and a few others know the particular CO that laid charges, and have nothing but good words to say about his dedication to our Natural Resourses, but its up to a judge to lay the fine, and judges tend to be very lenient, but they do have to deal with public humiliation, which could be much worse then the fine, as weve already seen the angler in damage control mode.
