Manotick Fishing Report

Well, so much for pike fishing, turns out that I have to retrain my daughter to fish Didn't even get my line wet! Oh well, met a couple of nice guys out there and Thea was catching her sunfish that made her happy! Even the guy fishing beside me had a nice jumbo surprise smallmouth bass, must have been around 6 pounds easy! Thea had a couple of pike and/or muskie follow he sunfish and Perch in to shore. All in all a nice afternoon!! Pictures are coming!

Wow!! She sure knows how to catch some nice sized sunnies!! Looked like she had a great time too. I love their smiles when they catch fish...it's priceless! Thanks for the pic and report!

Congrats" i 'm glad you tried Manotick ... did you fish at the dam or the bridge ?

try fishin the bridge on the west side with a big chub on a 2/0 hook suspended under a bobber
