Mack66 Posted July 13, 2013 Report Posted July 13, 2013 I have an issue with one of my shimano reels and the other I would just like to have serviced/cleaned, does anyone know if I can just drop them off at their building in Peterborough or do I have to mail them. This is what I am talking about http://www.shimano.com/publish/content/global_fish/en/us/index/customer_service0/Repair_Services.html Thanks everybody, Mack
irishfield Posted July 13, 2013 Report Posted July 13, 2013 Yes.. unless something recently changed you can walk it in in the Peterborough industrial park.
Mack66 Posted July 14, 2013 Author Report Posted July 14, 2013 Which lebaron? ? Not sure what you mean? I bought the citica I need repaired/looked at at gangons in oshawa but it was early in the year and I think I will have better luck at shimano. Plus I would like to get my caenen cleaned and oiled plus whatever else it needs.
Fisherpete Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 You can take it right there - and they do good work. I have all my musky reels serviced there - they have the parts if any are needed... Pete
esoxansteel Posted July 14, 2013 Report Posted July 14, 2013 They are on Pido Road in Peterborough, just off the Bypass, take the Ashburnam cutoff
Mack66 Posted July 16, 2013 Author Report Posted July 16, 2013 Took a journey out there Saturday, while I was in Peterborough but they were closed but at least I know where to find them now thanks everbody
bare foot wader Posted July 16, 2013 Report Posted July 16, 2013 while you are there, please feel free to admire that beautiful grey epoxy floor...have my sweat and blood in that floor ha what is wrong with your citical? just curious
bobogo Posted July 16, 2013 Report Posted July 16, 2013 does anyone know the cost of maintenance if i sent it to them? a curado baitcaster
bare foot wader Posted July 16, 2013 Report Posted July 16, 2013 cost of maintenance? if it's just a general clean up, lube, etc usually about 30-40 bucks, last time I sent a reel to aikmans anyways, not sure on shimano's pricing for that
registerfly Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 "took a journey" I suggest aikmans if you're out that way
hirk Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 John clean and lubd them yourself, its simple and pretty much free.
