  2. ? Not sure what you mean? I bought the citica I need repaired/looked at at gangons in oshawa but it was early in the year and I think I will have better luck at shimano. Plus I would like to get my caenen cleaned and oiled plus whatever else it needs.
  3. I have an issue with one of my shimano reels and the other I would just like to have serviced/cleaned, does anyone know if I can just drop them off at their building in Peterborough or do I have to mail them. This is what I am talking about http://www.shimano.com/publish/content/global_fish/en/us/index/customer_service0/Repair_Services.html Thanks everybody, Mack
  4. Read an article in ontario out of doors that suggest wacky riging with a weight in one end that looked like a headless nail if I remember right. Would give it the appearance of a shaky head I would think
  5. Was in port today the lake is high but I haven't heard of any flooding around scugog
  6. Theres safe ice out there, 5-6inches in front of my house but there's still thins spots (2") all over the place so make sure you check the ice as you go.
  7. There's maybe 2" in front of my house, I can stand on it but wouldn't go more than 5' from shore for fear of getting wet feet lol, lots of damp spots too. Hopefully I'll be walking out new years day.
  8. Ive never done anything to my eiger 400 but in the winter lots of snow and ice build up on the bottom and I chip it off everyonce in a while. Sometimes its hard to get the plow on but never had any problems.
  9. Have a bunch of theses from a long time ago very handy maps. Also have the navionics app very usefull for exact positions.
  10. I wish they'd done something to relieve the pressure on the Scugog walleye population though. Was just gonna say this but maybe next year the will do something.
  11. Thanks for the offer, I'll definitely let you know. I have hip waders too so I could bring them later. And thanks for the tips everybody, lookin forward to exploring the waters when I get some time.

  13. Well on Saturday i will be moving into residence at the university of Guelph. i love to fish but unfortunately my tinny and truck will be staying home so i was wondering if there's any good spots to fish in Guelph. I see the speed and eramosa rivers run through the city? do they have fish? if they do can someone point me in the right direction to get started i only fish scugog and i imagine the fishing style would be a little different lol. Mack
  14. I'm at the same point. Defiantly need a trolling motor paddling every other cast sucks. I built a platform in between the front and middle seat with a trap door it's a small tinny though so its interesting to use in high wind or multiple occupants lol. If I get a bow mount I'm Gonna get an adjustable seat and mount then put the foot control on the floor with my feet through the trap door. Btw I'm a light guy but for my platform I just put cross pieces from seat to seat then braced and put down plywood.
  15. Forgot to mention both asked for pcoc
  16. I got stopped twice in one day on scugog. Once by opp and once by Durham region I think. They didn't even know they we're out there at the same time.
