Long time no visit - quick report

With the demands of the job the past while fishing has taken a bit of a back seat. But I got out a couple times this fall in some small lakes by the cottage. Caught quite a few Smallies but the boy beat me up on size.

 

 

I did catch some too, LOL.

 

 

All caught on twister jigs or Zoom Lizards.

 

 

The next weekend we took one of my son's friends that never been out fishing before. Helluva first fish! He didn't stop talking about it for hours.

 

 

Picture still makes me laugh.

He was smiling all weekend and giving me the gears. He loved beating Dad at fishing, LOL.

Some very nice smallies !!! Those kids are hooked for life now their smiles say it all for sure... Brings back memories when I was that old doing the same thing!!!!! Great report and pics thanks for sharing !!!! Cheers
