asdve23rveavwa Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 Bass are out of season, should have popped the hook and put that back in the river immediately. Yupper. Some friendly advice...edit/remove your post, save yourself a bunch of grief. Oh, yeah (on a lighter note) edit/remove that hat too
Jer Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 (edited) it is illegal to take pictures of out of season fish!! READ THE REGS BEFORE YOU BUY A FISHING LICENCE OR DONT FISH !!!!!!! ...and where exactly does it say that? Though I agree, the shots in the grass of an OOS fish are in bad taste...not to mention the hat... Edited April 30, 2012 by Jer
BillM Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 Luckily this time of year the water is still cold, I'm sure that did zero harm to the fish.. Bass are pretty resilient.
chuckymcd Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 I believe it says clearly in the regs, any fish caught out of season should be put back into the water right away This topic has been brought up quite a bit over the time ive spent on this site. I thought we all came to the conclusion that it is ok to snap a quick picture and release the fish. That being said, the pics on the grass we probably could have done with out. And the Hat is great BTW
Trevor0179 Posted April 30, 2012 Author Report Posted April 30, 2012 Fish was out of the water for for less then a min I was fishing with an my eleven year old son it was biggest bass he had seen seen so he asked if we could take a picture if anyone one has a problem go fly a kite
Spiel Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 I think some folks need to chill, just a wee bit.
