glen Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Anyone using the Super Tech gear oil from walmart? The label says it is good for marine lower unit gear oil. It is $6.47 per liter.
Billy Bob Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 I have used their SuperTech 2 cycle oil for a long time....I'm convinced it's made by Lubermatic....good stuff for a great price.....is the gear oil the correct weight for your outboard....if so you wouldn't have a problem with it.....I have used automotive gear oil in my outboard for many years as it's the same stuff in a different bottle for a lot less money.
Whitespinnerbait Posted April 15, 2012 Report Posted April 15, 2012 Made a MISTAKE and sent a '' BUDDY '' to pick up a liter of gear lube for me.......came back with a liter of mercury high performance gear lube $ 19.28 with the tax :wallbash :
