Announced at noon, still raining in Daytona, rain should end around 3 PM, track drying to begin around 3PM, Race at 7:00 PM Eastern , To-day, on Fox.

I have a friend at the track sun was out around 3 but its raining again...They announced it will take a minimum of 3 hours to dry things up.over a foot of water at the entrance to pit road. So it has to stop raining now and not rain again...Not looking good...Still calling for 80% of scattered thunderstorms until 6 pm..I think there is a zoning bylaw in regard to noise, but I'm sure it has to be done by midnight..
