kickingfrog Posted February 10, 2012 Report Posted February 10, 2012 Link has a bunch of photos: http://www.nugget.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=3466699 Watch for pressure cracks near Lonely Island - PHOTO GALLERY By Nugget Staff Posted 2pm, Feb 9, 2012 Don Kervin provided these photos of a large pressure crack on Lake Nipissing from Lonely Island on the southwest shore west to Cross Point. "As you can see in one of the pics the ridge is inverted leaving a pond that could swallow a truck," Kervin writes. "The crack has surface water most of the length." Another pressure crack runs north from Lonely Island and is about 15 feet high. Illustrating the height of the crack is Kervin's fishing partner Kerry Elliott. ——— Nugget.ca will update this story with comments from the OPP.
