Northeast arm Pigeon Lake Ice

Dropped in at the cottage yesterday for a peek to make sure all was well.

 

Lake is frozen shore to shore in our area.

 

Thru a 2 lb rock up in the air from the dock. The ice held and sounded fairly solid.

 

West of Hurricane Point the water was still soft.

 

Cold last night and today. Won't be long

woohoo! cold in Barrie today, all I could think about was there must be ice forming somewhere

yes same as sturgeon lake the next one to the west of pigeon,and we still have lots of open water,but its not safe yet.....and we still have more warm weather comming hell its plus 4 in bobcaygeon right now !!!!!
