bigugli Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 Met up with CPH for another fine day of perchin on Sunday. Real slow start. Took us 4 hours to finally coax a steady bite. Seemed the fish had lock jaw. Poor peanut was going stir crazy cause we had not put any victims in the boat for her to chew on. Finally met Photoz, but he didn't stay long. Must have been experiencing the same poor luck. By 1, we had finally got a steady bite. Lots of dinks to keep peanut happy, and a steady supply of decent fish. Even so it was a soft bite. Most of the larger perch kept getting unbuttoned close to the boat. All in all, Steve and I had a nice day on the water, under beautiful sunny skies.
crappieperchhunter Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 Yeah we sure had to work for them today...but the last 2.5-3 hours where decent. Peanut must have put on a couple of miles running from one end of my boat to the other...bet she slept well during the car ride home Thx for a good day again my friend.
Rizzo Posted November 7, 2011 Report Posted November 7, 2011 hey at least it was a gorgeous day even if the fishing was hit and miss
bigugli Posted November 15, 2011 Author Report Posted November 15, 2011 Finally found where I left the camera. Peanut was oh so happy when we finally started to catch some fish. When the little thief gets her paws on a perch it will be beheaded and disemboweled in all of 30 seconds. THen she leaves the remains at your feet to dispose of the evidence.
NAW Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 My wife would KILL me if I feed a live fish to our dog.. But I bet my dog would love me forever for it.. Glad you finally managed some fish!
mercman Posted November 15, 2011 Report Posted November 15, 2011 Too funny !!!! Mine are scared dung-less by the fish i`ve introduced them too.Maybe if i didnt chase them around the house with it, making loud chomping noises, they might be less afraid
bigugli Posted November 15, 2011 Author Report Posted November 15, 2011 But I bet my dog would love me forever for it.. Your dog will live longer too!
