bucktail Posted August 8, 2011 Report Share Posted August 8, 2011 Was out off of Chrystal Beach on friday walleye fising and managed to get a couple 1.5 pound white bass. i havnt caught big ones like that in ages , I realized I have never eaten one before as well. It's also the easiest fish to clean... I gave some fillets to my parents and they are seasoned speckled trout/walleye/perch eaters...they couldnt' stop talking about how nice the meat was and that they liked it more than walleye...yes, MORE than walleye! Hahaha, I have two more white bass filets in the freezer and a few walleye sides, maybe I'll do some blind taste tests to seperate the facts from the hysteria!
