Got out to the lake today

Went to my buddies cabin to chillax this afternoon and took a few shots for ya.

They were still driving their trucks on the lake Tuesday but the approaches are pretty sketchy now so I had to walk to their place. :-\

 

This is for yooze guys that are sweatin' yer butts off already. ;D

 

Oh yeah, the ice is still over 3' thick when you get away from the shoreline.

I don't see any holes drilled out there??? How could you get that close to a lake, and not even drill a hole?? I couldn't do that@!!

It gets old when you've been doing it for almost 7 months.

Can't wait to hit the open water on the Attawapiskat this Friday afternoon!!!

fished top end of marion lake ,dore creek ,about 15 yrs ago,with a rcmp.great slave was still iced over,ice had just come off marion.may 24,stewardess in edmonton thought i was nuts.gf was teaching in Rae.Unbelievable fishing...its like every walleye from slave knew i was fishing up there...timing is everything
