craigdritchie Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 I drive over Bronte every day on my way to work. It rained all night, and it's still raining now. If this is any indication of how other creeks look (and it usually is) this may be a fine weekend to paint the basement.
Fang Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 It is a mess for sure. I'm about 10 minutes down the road and even our little creek was roaring all night long. Went out to pick worms and it was too cold for them to be out. What a difference from last year but that's fishing! I was taking Monday off to extend my weekend and do some quiter stream fishing but looks like I'll delay that day off till Thurs/Fri next week
brifishrgy Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Yup .. its gonna be a while before it clears with the rain expected next week http://www.theweathernetwork.com/fourteenday/caon0493/table
bdox Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 I see most of the west tribs on my daily train ride from Burlington to downtown Toronto and back. They are all pretty much blown.
bucktail Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 Runofff is past the intake of the the Oakville plant, thats 834 meters into the lake. I have a feeling almost every steelie is has gone with it, unfortunatley it will take at least a week to clear and warm for shoreline browns too.
craigdritchie Posted April 21, 2011 Author Report Posted April 21, 2011 Took a picture of Bronte from the Rebecca Street bridge this evening on the drive home from work. It's not exactly blowing warm tropical breezes up my skirt, if you know what I mean.
cuzza Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 I think Rona have a special on paint this weekend Craig Fingers crossed the weather-folks are wrong!
