WELL THERE WAS NO WAY IN HELL I WAS GOIN OUT DURING THE DAY ON SUNDAY!!! +15 BRINGS OUT EVERYONE!!

SO JUST TO SHOW PHOTOZ YA CAN CATCH A STEEL IN THE NIGHT HERE YA GO!!!(8PM TILL 2AM)

NIGHT FISHIN IS ALOT TOUGHER BUT NO CROWDS AND PEACE AND QUIET IS WELL WORTH IT LOL

 

 

 

THE FISH WERE HIT PRETTY HARD ALL DAY AND I WASNT EXPECTING MUCH!!! THEY WERE SHY HITTING VERY LIGHTLY!! WENT 3/8

 

IM GONNA HAVE TO WATCH MY REARVIEW MIRROR MORE OFTEN!!! I THINK CLIFF AND CAROL WERE HOT ON MY TRAIL LOL

LOL...guess we didn't follow you to the right place then....cause we didn't catch anything. Great job Scott...just tell me you didn't catch them where you saw us earlier that night! We only stayed out another 1/2 hour after seeing you...the wind picked up and got cold...that and the crap was floating down river and had to dodge too many pieces of driftwood.

Weird CC, I found the fish very agressive sunday evening, with myself going 1 for 3 and some others catching fish as well all in an hour (from about 6 30 till dark). Then I stepped in the creek sans boots, and called it a night!

hmmm where can i buy some loose Steelhead roe? Clearly my Salmon roe is not working, skunked twice now. (2nd time, i learnt not every day the river will give me that "winter grn" colour)

CC is right, but lots of bait stores carry cured loose roe...try Gagnon's in Oshawa...they had some cured trout roe the last time I was there.
