I've rode a chair lift since I was 4 years old.. never seen a reason to fall off one and I've been in some pretty hairy situations as a teacher/ski patrol escorting kids (under 6) etc. The only place you generally get mowed down is right at the loading ramp... Well, if they were doing something wrong then those two adults sure taught them a lesson...... Letting a kid fall 30 feet isn't exactly the same as a slap on the behind.
