I've rode a chair lift since I was 4 years old.. never seen a reason to fall off one and I've been in some pretty hairy situations as a teacher/ski patrol escorting kids (under 6) etc. The only place you generally get mowed down is right at the loading ramp...

Regardless of what the kids were doing before the slip under the saftey bar, for two adults to sit and watch and NOT help is unfathomable!
chris.brock Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 I read that story in the Star a couple days ago, if that's the way it actually happened, I don't understand what the 2 adults were thinking, I was pretty disturbed by the story, the kid has pretty serious injuries from th fall

Well, if they were doing something wrong then those two adults sure taught them a lesson...... Letting a kid fall 30 feet isn't exactly the same as a slap on the behind.
