alexcba Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 what kinda rod holders? rigging? still fishing?
Raf Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 are you looking for cheap or good? can't have both what are you trolling for?
Fisherpete Posted July 17, 2010 Report Posted July 17, 2010 The ones I use are made by Scotty, work with both spinning and baitcasters... $25 each or so. Seen them at Canadian Tire, Bass Pro, LeBaron... great for trolling, and I use them for still fishing too (cats, carp) http://image.basspro.com/images/images2/64000/64316-t.jpg
skrillaguerilla Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 (edited) i like these downeast salty rod holders. I am pretty sure you can get them at BPS, but i have never seen them at canadian tire.. I mailordered parts for my s-10's from the website and they got here in a week. mistaredone Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 I'll second the saltys. Rock solid and adjustable. Bps carrys some salty models but I had to go to JBS to get the one that secures to the gunnel
Fisherman Posted July 20, 2010 Report Posted July 20, 2010 I've used the Scottys since 1987, they are still holding up, used for downrigging and with dipsy divers.
