Dutch Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Police searching for boy who fell from boat Posted By FIONA ISAACSON, Examiner Staff Writer Posted 1 hour ago CAMPBELLFORD – Northumberland OPP are looking for a missing 13-year-old boy after he fell out of a boat on the Trent River, south of Campbellford, on Saturday night. The boy was a passenger when he fell out of the boat in rough water conditions, police say. He was not wearing a life jacket. Police are currently searching for the boy on the river about 1.5 kilometres south of Campbellford. Police divers are on scene. -------------------------------------------- I hate to be the driver of that boat - rough waters and no life jacket on a 13 year old doesn't add up to be something positive. Will people ever learn that if they aren't being worn, they won't ever save a life? Shameful and completely preventable. I hope for the best, but expect the worst.
Twocoda Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 Damn it!!!!!!!!...the words i said when i read this werent so nice and against forum policy My heart to the people involved
Big Cliff Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 So very sad, how do you live with something like that? There is more going on here than what we have been told. Someone falls out of a boat even in rough water and you can't find them?
alexcba Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 so sad, poor family of that boy. cliff (hope this is not whats happened) if the rivers vegged up enough he could easily be tangled in the weeds. best friends cousin went that way.

Fisherman Posted July 5, 2010 Report Posted July 5, 2010 Another sad ending. When will they learn, usually when it's too late and then it will be a reminder forever for those involved.
