n8tivebigguy Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 Has anyone hooked into any crappie yet? I was just checking to see if anyone had any luck.
frozen-fire Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 Yes, they are definitely on the feed. Just look for shallow areas that heat up the fastest. My presentation is about 2 feet from the surface... they are still sluggish...so slow your presentation down and look for subtle hits. Go get 'em while it's hot!

I tried Holland River last week with no success. However, I was only there for about an hour at most. The trip was mostly to test my new boat on water. But, while I was there, didn't see anyone else catch anything either Which body of water were you at, frozen-fire?
bigugli Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 Hit into a school of small stuff yesterday. I think the biggest was pushing 7"
raptorfan Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 nothing in my neck of the woods yet, not even a sunfish. I am sure by the end of this weekend though, they will be on fire.
Sinker Posted April 1, 2010 Report Posted April 1, 2010 Me and a buddy had a good time tonight hauling them. It took a couple spots to find them, but once we did, it was non stop. Every cast. s.
