canadadude Posted March 1, 2010 Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 I guess my super tonight is a big ole CROW hehehe,I was more then skeptical about this team but in the end they played well together and achieved the goal, congratulations Team Canada. You only turned into pylons for 2min in the 3rd, just to test my weak heart.Hats off to a Canadian Hockey Hero, Sidney Crosby at 21 yrs of age he has cemented himself as great Canadian Hockey Legend, it's going to be hard for him to top that goal. Great game by 2 great teams, a fitting end to 2 weeks of incredible international sport, by far the best winter Olympics I've seen. He's a current Cup champ, he scored two game winners in the Olympics and his final goal will immortalize him. He sucks. Does anyone want my signed jersey? I'm going to throw it away. Two Stanley cup finals in a row is not to be sniffed at either even if you do only win one of them. I lived in the burgh for 3 years, still support the Pens. Radnine Posted March 1, 2010 Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 yea like all the arm chairs slagging Pronger, Niedermayer, Richards, Thornton, Getzlaf, etc etc. They may of never scored, but I can tell you despite their size, they seemed in the opposition end more than their own. yea, now that I really had a chance to see Niedermayer play, now I know why he is a great Captain and defenseman. However, despite reactivating his brain for part of the game, he still got away with a big crosscheck that should have put us on the PK. Every other team puts out their best shut down line as soon as Crosby is on the ice. He often has to play against the best opposing defensive players. This is beneficial to the rest of his team as those defensive specialist never play against other lines thus allowing for more offense when Sid is on the bench. Exactally..half the time when Crosby is on the ice he double covered and that openes up the ice for the rest of the team! The dude had 4 goals 3 assists? Thats not low scoring at all.Considering were playing each countrys supposed allstar teams..The sid the kid VS Ovenchicken thing is just silly..Ove is an amazing player and I say we get him on a Canadian team offer him dual citizenship and a chance to play for a real team in 2014 Yeah baby!!!!!
