Hooked! Again (Not Real Fishing)

Normally I do not complain about things as I know no one really cares...nor do I really get into the holiday spirit...but I was feeling a little christmasy and decided to buy the family a treat.

 

We purchased "Hooked! Again" for the wii and it is the worst game ever!!!!

 

If you are thinking of buying a child or a "big kid" this gift for christmas....just save everyone a headache and the 59$ plus tax. Get them some fishing gear or a gift card to their favorite tackle shop (like I wish I did now...) because this game does nothing but disappoint!

I think the fishing games from the 90's were better than today's, its a small market I suppose, the software developers just don't put much effort into them, that rapala game is no prize either, considering the computing power available.

I liked the BPS tournament game from 2006. Not bad, but only takes about 24 hours to figure out the sequence pattern for the 200 tournament scenarios. Got boring real quick.

i like pro pilkki II.

all other fishing games are terrible.

i don't mind some hunting games though! i'm right hooked on cabelas alaskan adventures, despite how bad the fishing is in it.

Just started playing Pro Pilkki recently. Really, really fun. Surprisingly so for a fishing game. The only other worthwhile one I can think of is the old-school Trophy Rivers game, which was a blast back in the day.

The Rapala game isn't too bad once you figure out all the controls.
