HTHM Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Does anyone have any plans for side planer boards that are relatively easy to make? I priced them today and was surprised at the cost. $35 and up. I figure 8" of pine, some machining and paint is a lot less expensive. I could be wrong though...

YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN IN-LINES VERY EASY. I HAVE MADE A SET OF 6 FOR A FRIEND AND THEY WORK GREAT. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS LOOK AT A STORE ONE MAKE NOTES AND IN 20 MIN YOU CAN HAVE ONE DONE http://baitdave.forumco.com/topic~TOPIC_ID~5.asp Edited November 3, 2009 by fishhunter
Headhunter Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 Homey... just copy the Offshore boards I dropped off to you last year! HH
BillM Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 2 pieces of pine, some threaded rod/nuts and you are set... My oldman used to make them when we lived in St.Catharines.. Great for spring trout fishing out on Lake O.
