FinS Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 well just found out that i will be heading up north (kirkland lake) for the lake trout opener for 2 weeks i will be leaving wednesday night and plan on targetting lakers,pike and pickeral i will be solo so i am hoping to get into some decent fish i will try to take as many pictures as i can and post them when i get back so wish me luck

Fishing with friends.........All awesome... some times the best fishing is done alone though.........no distractions, complete concentration.......having an extra is a neccessity at times(net man, boat navigator, safety in pairs etc...) What is it that M.Thorpe says...'Leave your smiles on shore'..and Lew once said...'Only thing I want to hear from a boat partner is...Get The Net' But fishing alone is one of my favs.... FinS Posted February 15, 2007 Author Report Posted February 15, 2007 too bad for all the luck all the luck i got was a blown radiator damn ford so the trip got cancelled hopefully i can get up there before the closing date if not Lake St Clair is calling me
